Janet M. Strickland is in her 34th year of practicing law. She earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Florida (1978), where she earned high honors, and her law degree from University of Denver (J.D. 1989). She passed the Colorado Bar in 1989 and the Florida Bar in 1998.

Janet practiced law in Breckenridge, Colorado at the Law Office of J. Albert Bauer, P.C. (1991-1997), and at Florida’s oldest firm Landis Graham French (1998-2003), before opening the Law Office of Janet M. Strickland, P.A., on August 1, 2003 in Port Orange, Fla.

In August 2010, Janet opened her law office on Sanibel Island, where she continues to enjoy island life and continued professional success.
